Twenty years after ADCOLOR began asking the creative industry to Rise Up and Reach Back, the organization entered its next chapter at a moment when progress could no longer be taken for granted. The anniversary called for more than a look backward. It needed a rallying cry that honored everything the community had built while giving people the energy to keep moving.
CTRL + ALT + LIFT transformed the language of a computer reset into a collective command for the future: take control of our stories, choose alternative paths when old systems fail us, and lift one another as we climb. More than a conference theme, it became a flexible creative platform designed to carry ADCOLOR’s mission into its next 20 years.

THE IDEAInstead of waiting for happily ever after, the work embraced Bravely Ever Forward—a more honest expression of what progress looks like when it is built through courage, persistence, and community.
The four accompanying films then brought that idea down to the individual level, spotlighting creatives with distinct disciplines, voices, and ways of making. Together, they showed that creative expression does not follow one path, it can live in the work, the process, the perspective, and the courage to make something only you could make.
A New CMD for the Culture
The CTRL + ALT + LIFT identity expanded across the full ADCOLOR experience, from conference environments and stage graphics to digital content, merchandise, signage, and the awards show. Each touchpoint carried the same invitation: reclaim the narrative, imagine another way forward, and make sure no one has to rise alone.
The final campaign connected ADCOLOR’s founding ethos to a new cultural command—one that could honor the people who opened doors, energize the community walking through them, and remind us that the future is not something we wait for. It is something we keep lifting one another toward.
